The VMWare NSX certification VCP6-NV validates your ability to install, configure, and administer a vSphere data center virtualized with VMware NSX.
Note that the current VMWare NSX certification VCP-NV will expire on November 30th 2015 after this date you have to take the VCP6-NV exam.

VMWare NSX Certification Path – New to VMware
If you have not taken any VMWare certifications before the in order to become a VCP6-NV you need to attend one of the following training courses.
Any one of these courses will validate the training requirement.
Pass the vSphere 6 Foundations Exam
You can skip Step 1 if you already hold one of the following cisco certifications. CCNA Data Center, CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNP Data Center, CCNP Routing & Switching, CCIE Data Center, CCIE Routing & Switching.

Note: Skipping Step 1 by validating a Cisco certification is only available until January 31st 2016
VMWare NSX Certification Path – Already VMWare certified
If you hold a current VCP-NV certification, you will automatically be granted VCP6-NV certification status.
If you hold a VCP certification for any other solution track that has not expired then you will need to only pass the VMware Certified Professional 6 – Network Virtualization Exam
If you hold an expired VCP certification for any track then you need to complete Steps 1-3 above.
VMWare NSX Exam Price
The price for the VMWare VCP6-NV exam is $225
The exam is made up of single and multi choice questions and is administered by PearsonVue
It is made up of 85 questions with a passing score of 300
