Gluware vs Ansible

Home » Network Automation » Ansible

Gluware review

Gluware is a network automation platform that takes the headaches out of automating and orchestrating your critical network infrastructure.

Gluware provides a code free option to automate multi-vendor networks, providing you with an intent based solution.

Ansible on the other hand whilst also a network automation platform that can handle multi vendor networks does require coding skills. It is built using Python but to operate Ansible you need to write YAML playbooks. For a full GUI driven orchestration tool you need to look at the Ansible Automation Platofrm

The comparison between the two platforms comes down to money. How much resource do you want to dedicate to operating Ansible? Whilst it is an open source platform and can be operated for free you will need human resource to provide the code.

Gluware on the other hand claims to take all the headaches out of writing code and just offers you a platform that delivers an intent based network automation solution.

What is Glueware?

Gluware is an Intelligent Network Automation Platform allowing you to automate and orchestrate multi-vendor networks without using code.

How much does Gluware cost?

Gluware provides a free trial with up to 1000 devices for 60 days. After that you will be required to purchase either a Pro Level or Enterprise plan. Pricing depends on number of devices and plan selected. Starting at $7.99 per device per month.
