Is Cisco Modelling Labs Free?

Cisco have just announced a free tier to their Cisco Modelling Labs platform. This is huge for network engineers, the only way to previously access CML was with the $199 per year option. The free tier allows you to download a CML .ova file which will allow you to run 5 devices for free.

If you already have a CCO ID just log into Cisco.com and head over to downloads and you can download the free tier.

Interestingly as of today (23rd November 2024) the free tier option does not seem to be mentioned on a lot of the website and still pushing you to the $199 per year option, hopefully this will be updated doon
