If you are seriously considering taking any CCIE certification then you need the assistance of a CCIE Training provider. There are many out there but this blog post is going to review my favourite vendor and the one I am using for my CCIE Training requirements.
Providing CCIE Video Training, Workbooks, Bootcamps, and forums. InternetworkExpert or INE www.ine.com has the complete package.
I am pursuing my CCIE in Routing and Switching and the materials I have purchased from INE to date include
- CCIE Workbooks
- CCIE Training Videos
- 2 week CCIE Bootcamp
- Mock Labs
The newly updated Advanced Technology class on demand provides training videos covering all the topics of the CCIE R&S exam and for $249 is available for download so you can play them anywhere on your ipad. (Something which I find incredibly useful)
To be able to watch a quick video on a specific top anywhere is invalubale.
There are 4 workbooks
- Workbook 1 covering all the topics of the CCIE R&S exam
- Workbook 2 provides 20 full scale labs
- Workbook 3 provide 10 four hour labs designed to refine your configuration skills
- Workbook 4 provides 10 troubleshooting scenarios each with 10 trouble tickets.
CCIE Bootcamp
But by far the best part of the training provided is the 10 day CCIE Bootcamp.
Taught by 5 x CCIE Brian Dennis this is the final preparation before your exam. Brian will take you through each topic and teaches for 9 hours a day!
This guy is a Cisco dynamo and does not stop, it is not the place to be learning ospf for the first time, a knowledge of all the topics is required and Brian will take you through some advanced troubleshooting techniques and interesting behaviours of the protocols fully preparing you for the CCIE Lab exam.
You will leave the bootcamp knowing so much stuff you didn’t know you didn’t know!
I am writing this post whilst attending day 6 of the 10 day bootcamp in London and after 9 hours of intense training there is still so much to go over in preparation for the next day.
I cannot reccomend INE highly enough.
Back to MPLS VPN troubleshooting!
Hi Roger
Cannot agree more. The INE courses and the training videos are fantastic, the best I have used from any training company. They were vital in my passing the CCIE R&S.
INE may be expensive but worth every penny, plus now you can gain access to all INE online training videos for a fixed monthely fee.
