CCIE Lab Booking – How to book the CCIE Lab Exam

After passing my ccie written last week I am now going to book the CCIE Lab exam which I plan to take at the end of January 2013. This fits in well with my schedule and study plan. CCIE Lab booking is very easy you just need to have passed the ccie written exam and be prepared to part with up to $1936 if you are taking the exam in Brussels! This includes VAT

The steps on how to book the ccie lab exam are quite straightforward. The current cost for the exam is $1650, booking is easy, payment will come later!

1. Click here http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/ccie/rs/index.html
2. Click on the link that says Schedule and Pay for Lab Exam, you will require a cco login but you should have one of these already
3. You should see a screen like this

 

You will need your CCIE Written exam report which will contain all the required information. Once you have entered this, be careful of the date format, the form requires mm/dd/yyyy. You will then see a screen of your current status and any written and lab exam attempts. Next click on the link top left which says Schedule a Lab Exam

 

You then get an opportunity to update any of your address details for billing purposes.

Then you choose the track  you are pursuing and the earliest lab date you can make, on the next screen the system will tell you all the available dates. As I am booking my lab exam 6 months out there were plenty of seats available.
So here it is my lab date! Just got to hit the button now

There are a few screens of accepting policy and you are done. So here it is, my official lab date, I have now put a countdown timer at the top of my blog and need to be very strict now with my studies as I only have 211 days of studying!

Just got to pay for it now!
