7 x CCIE Neil Moore

Home » CCIE Certification

There is only one person on the entire planet who has 7 CCIE’s

His name is Neil Moore. Recently passing the CCIE Data Center exam Neil has added number 7 to his list and does not intend to stop there Neil says his next certification is going to be CCIE Service Provider Operations and then the CCDE

It has taken Neil over 11 years to achieve 7 CCIE’s and on top of that he also has a host of other certifications. Click his name above to see his Linkedin profile.

So where does a man with 7 CCIE’s work? Neil is a cloud architect for HP

Inspiration for us all or does Neil just not sleep?

I am still trying to pass my first CCIE!

I am confused. Which ccie cert security or voise is high in demand in terms of salary and job oppertunity. Pls answer

There is no right answer to this question, Security will always be in demand, but Voice is in demand because of the lack of certified engineers.

However CCIE alone is not enough today to secure good salary and job opportunity you need to be skilled in so many other areas.

It will get you an interview, yes but keep learning about everything as the network engineer role is changing and you are being expected to know more and more.

I personally would focus on Security if I had to pick one

I am Planning to start from CCNA then CCNP then CCIE . How long can it take me to do that? let us assume that between each track there is an allowance of 2years to look for resources and study.

      Rono,

It all depends on how dedicated you are and what else you have going on in your life.

If you dedicated yourself you could get CCIE in one year, if you didn’t it could take 10 – just ask yourself how badly do you want it and how much time do you have to put to it.
