In 7 days time I will be attending the
INE CCIE Routing & Switching 5-Day Troubleshooting Bootcamp
This is the one International location for this bootcamp and is held in London
The CCIE Routing & Switching Advanced Troubleshooting Bootcamp is a combination of lectures focused on a structured troubleshooting approach and advanced hands-on troubleshooting tickets. The Bootcamp is designed for students who want to solidify their troubleshooting skills, master a structured troubleshooting approach, and identify their weak areas. This is the only Bootcamp on the market targeted exclusively at the Troubleshooting section of the CCIE lab exam. www.ine.com
Taught by Brian Dennis 5 x CCIE and R&S Troubleshooting guru this promises to be an amazing week. On of my weak points on my first attempt was the troubleshooting, I just spent far too much time on each ticket which caused me to fail that section and the lab. You need to develop a structured approach with a laser guide to locate the problem quickly and then with a solid understanding of the technology resolve the ticket.
I will blog about the bootcamp day by day and will also provide a full review afterwards if anybody is thinking about attending this bootcamp. All the following bootcamps this year though are all in the US.
I have already attended the 10 day R&S bootcamp and that was an amazing experience, I have also watched some of the free V-Seminars on troubleshooting that INE has put out and so I am very exited about a solid week of troubleshooting tickets.
So this week I am going through as many troubleshooting labs as I can to get prepared for next week.
Each student has his or her own dedicated rack of 28 ISR routers and 4 Catalyst switches for working through the tickets, offering a better understanding of what to expect in the real CCIE lab exam. The course also covers such topics as what to expect the day of your lab, how to prioritize tasks and manage your time, and Cisco’s grading methodology.
My next attempt is scheduled for October 28th and I am going to so much better prepared this time!
